Glenbuchat dispersal sees a top of 8200gns

The dispersal of David Sole's Glenbuchat herd saw a strong trade for youthful cows and strong calves at foot with many new faces bidding for the finer lots. 

Sale leader at 8200gns was Glenbuchat Blackcherry H080, a September 2008-born Rawburn Lord Ross C216 daughter out of a Tofts Laird daughter, Huxton Blackcherry A064. She sold with her bull calf at foot by Lockerley Kobra H954 to George and Aileen MacFadzean, Perth. 

Next best was a call of 5500gns for Glenbuchat Jess G032, an Augist 2007-born Fordel Emperor B318 daughter. Yet again with a Kobra calf at foot, this time a heifer, she sold having been PD's in calf to Glenbuchat Edgar to multi buyer on the day G A Yeats and Co, Huntly, Aberdeenshire. 

Next best at 5000gns was the September 2008-born Glenbuchat Rotarua H077, an Idvies Edward E236 daughter. This one is out of a Zulu 689 of Waimata daughter Tegsnose Rotarua B082 and sold with a heifer calf at foot by Deveron Latimer G188 to K McOscar, Cookstown, Co Tyrone. 

Then at 4800gns was the May 2011-born Glenbuchat Faithful L262, a Lockerley Kobra H954 daughter out of Blacklaws Fizz E152, a Black Banner X1 of Idvies daughter with a Wedderlie Oscoss H589 heifer calf at foot and back in calf again to Lockerley Kobra. Buyer here was J McConnaghan, Grantown on Spey.

At 4000gns was Glenbuchat Georgia H054, a May 2008-born Idvies Edward E236 daughter. This one is out of Tegsnose Georgia C097, with a Kobra heifer calf at foot and back in calf to Idvies Fusion. Taking this one home as Messrs Yeats.
