Mogeely herd on winning form at Bandon Show

The overall Aberdeen-Angus breed championship, judged by John Holloway, Co Westmeath, was awarded to Mogeely Miylo P291 at Bandon Show last week. Exhibited by Albert and Jennifer DeCogan, Castlemartyr, Co. Cork, this heifer was born in January 2014 and is by the three time All Ireland Aberdeen-Angus champion Rosemead Karona J957. She is a daughter of Liss Miylo G863 and was a first prize winner at the National Livestock Show, Tullamore last August. 

Taking the reserve breed championship was the September 2015-born bull calf, Carrigroe Mr Radar, exhibited by John and Frank Applebe, Clonakilty, Co. Cork. This one is by Rothosheen Hugo and is out of Carrigroe Fiesty.
